To say that we are crazy about
dogs – anyone’s dogs – is an understatement. For
those of you who have already experienced our unique
service, they can confirm this statement and much
more.
Having been brought up with dogs and then having the
devastating task of putting down our own dog, Jake,
a Shepherd/Husky mix, a few years ago when he was 12
years, we thought we could never replace him, nor be
able to love another dog - let alone one that was
not ours. However, that turned out to be as far from
the truth as one can imagine.
Gradually, as friends and family entrusted us to
take care of their precious, furry friends while
they were away, we not only found ourselves enjoying
their company, with their little personalities and
quirks, but we actually began loving them just as if
they were a member of our family who had been living
with us for a long time. It’s funny how these little
creatures are able to make you love them, especially
when you’re convinced it could never happen again.
Needless to say, as time went on, we started looking
forward to those visits and truly missed them when
they weren’t around.
We have albums filled with pictures of “our” dogs
and are sure to capture every special moment, for
example, of our little friend’s first time climbing
up and down stairs, or trying to poke their heads
where they don’t belong. Especially at Christmas, we
have so much fun dressing them up in costumes, and
then giving their families the hard copies to take
home as souvenirs of their stay with us. Of course,
loot bags and toys are always included as well.
So, that is how our story evolved a few years ago as
my husband and I started taking care of our little
visitors, and how Linda’s Pet Sitting and Dog
Boarding
was born. Never a day goes by that we don’t get a
chuckle out of playing with these furry babies and
watching them grow as they return, time after time.
It is by loving other dogs that our memory of Jake
lives on.
We experience great satisfaction in offering this
unique service to our clients - mainly because it
was not made available to US during the time WE had
Jake. So, whoever said “business and pleasure don’t
mix” never felt our passion. The truth is “we supply
the place of business - and our doggies supply the
“pleasure”.
From the feedback we have received, we feel
confident that we have accomplished our goal in
offering to help you create some balance in your
life. We want you to leave feeling completely
comfortable that you made the right decision in
entrusting your little ones to us in our loving home
– second only to yours! |
